What is Ewance?
Ewance is a marketplace for real industry challenges that university students solve to build their portfolio. Every completed and identity-verified credential is anchored on the blockchain via LearnCoin — recruiters can verify it forever.
How is Ewance different from Forage, Riipen, or Handshake?

Is Ewance the same as Telanto?
No. Ewance is a different company built by Telanto's founder. Telanto (2015–2021) sold to universities and companies — but never to the students whose work made the platform valuable. Ewance is built for students first: free to start, theirs to own, with credentials that travel with them for life. How many challenges are there?

Can I work with my classmates?
Yes — solo, in a team, or in a multi-disciplinary squad. Many challenges actively encourage cross-functional collaboration.
How long does a challenge take?
Most challenges run 1–4 weeks. Each lists the estimated effort upfront so you can pick what fits your schedule.
Credentials & verification
What is a "verified credential"?
A credential issued after you've verified your identity by uploading your university enrollment certificate (Immatrikulationsbescheinigung in Germany — equivalents accepted worldwide). Verified credentials are anchored on the blockchain via LearnCoin and name you as the recipient. Free-tier work without verification earns a badge that attests to the work but not the worker.
How do recruiters verify my credential?
They click the verify link on your credential. No Ewance account, no sign-in. The check happens against the blockchain itself — recruiters can confirm even if Ewance disappears.
Can I add my Ewance credential to LinkedIn?
Yes. One-click "Add to LinkedIn" import populates the Certifications section with your challenge brief, your work, and the sponsoring company.

Free for students forever (1 verified credential lifetime). Student tier $10/mo or $100/yr (5 verified credentials lifetime + AI matching). Pro tier $30/mo or $300/yr (unlimited verified credentials + boosted recruiter ranking).
Why are credentials "lifetime" instead of monthly?
Credentials aren't consumables — each one represents real work that lives forever on the blockchain. Once you've used your lifetime allowance, upgrade to keep earning new ones.
